Design

Visual design built to do a job.

We create visual identities, campaign systems and communication assets that make brands clearer, more recognisable and easier to use. Every design decision begins with the message, the audience and the context in which the work will appear.

More than an isolated asset

A design may need to introduce a brand, organise information, support a campaign or make a message immediately recognisable across several channels. Its value comes from how well it performs that role - and how consistently it can be used afterwards.

B1 combines creative direction with practical application. We can develop one focused deliverable or create a flexible visual system that carries the same idea across digital, social and print formats.

What we design

Visual identities

Build or refine the core elements that make an organisation, product or initiative recognisable and coherent.

Campaign concepts and systems

Create a central visual idea and translate it into a family of coordinated assets for different messages, audiences and placements.

Digital and social assets

Design posts, advertisements, banners, presentation graphics and reusable templates that stay consistent across ongoing communication.

Print and editorial materials

Turn content into clear, considered layouts for brochures, reports, publications, posters and other physical formats.

How the design takes shape

01

Context and objective

We establish what the design must communicate, where it will be used and what it needs to achieve. Existing brand materials and practical restrictions are reviewed at this stage.

02

Creative direction

We define the central visual approach through references, composition, typography, colour and image treatment. The goal is to agree on the idea before expanding it into multiple assets.

03

Design development

The selected direction is refined and applied to the required deliverables. We test how the system behaves across formats rather than judging it only through one ideal composition.

04

Delivery and guidance

Final files are organised for their intended use. Where the work will continue internally or through other partners, we can provide templates and practical guidance for maintaining consistency.

Distinctive enough to be recognised. Practical enough to be used.

Good design should give a brand character without making every future application difficult. We aim for a visual language that is ownable, adaptable and appropriate for the way the organisation actually communicates.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take on individual design assets?
Yes. A project can begin with one specific deliverable or cover a complete visual system. For isolated assets, we first make sure there is enough existing direction to produce work that feels coherent with the brand.
Can you work within an established brand identity?
Yes. We can extend an existing identity into a new campaign, format or communication need while respecting its current rules and recognisable characteristics.
Do you provide editable templates and source files?
Deliverables are agreed according to how the work will be used and maintained. When internal teams need to produce recurring content, editable templates and a clear handover can be included in the scope.
