Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use b1.studio, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated: 5 August 2026. This policy explains how B1 Studio handles personal data collected through b1.studio.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of any personal data collected through this website is B1 Studio, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. You can reach us at welcome@b1.studio or on +359 89 930 7508 with any question about this policy or about the data we hold on you.

What we collect

We only collect what we need in order to reply to you and to keep the site running.

  • Information you send us. When you use the contact form or email us directly, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give it), and whatever you write in your message.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp. These are used to keep the site secure and available.
  • Cookies. Small files stored in your browser, described in our Cookies Policy.

We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data (health, political opinions, and similar). Please do not send it to us through the form.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project – because you asked us to, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services.
  • To deliver work we have agreed to do – to perform a contract with you.
  • To keep the site secure and working – our legitimate interest in operating the site safely.
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations – a legal obligation, where we have invoiced you.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project correspondence and files are kept for the length of the working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference and warranty purposes. Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as Bulgarian tax law requires. Server logs are rotated by our host on a short cycle.

Who else can see it

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

  • our web hosting provider, which stores the site and its logs;
  • our email provider, which delivers and stores correspondence;
  • where relevant to a project, freelance collaborators bound by confidentiality.

Where a provider stores data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of the data we hold about you; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict how we use it; or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest, and withdraw consent where you have given it.

Write to welcome@b1.studio and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни, cpdp.bg) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the systems that hold enquiry data is limited to the people who need it and protected by strong, unique credentials and two-factor authentication where the service supports it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
